Happiness and Joy

Happiness, what an can be a complicated emotion. Many people would say that we are usually aware when we are feeling emotions of happiness. Sometimes these feelings can be overwhelmingly obvious, and sometimes these feelings can be less obvious. Sometimes when we are feeling emotions of happiness, we become conflicted in our doing so. There are many ways that our experiences of happiness effect us both positive and negative ways. Sometimes that trauma or experience over time can inhibit our ability to really feel happy. 

It's very important to think about the healthy ways we can create happiness in our daily lives. Feelings of happiness have ways of effecting everyone, and we can always choose to channel our feelings into appropriate behavior and action. Happiness is awesome, and makes us feel fulfilled and accomplished. 

Euphoria: 

Euphoria is a feeling that occurs similarly as happiness, but can be a different feeling entirely. Typically we may feel euphoria when indulging in intensely emotional activities such as: religious ceremonies, concerts, festivals, community unity, alcohol and drug use. Please make sure if you are feeling types of euphoria often that you discuss that with a mental health care professional or doctor. Sometimes euphoria can feel fun but have adverse effects, so it's importanto for us to make mental notes of the frequency of euphoria. 

It's also important that we make sure that the way that our emotions fluctuate when we experience euphoria. If we are experiencing euphoria in repeated patterns with depression or sadness. We should always discuss any worries we may have with a medical professional or mental health care professional.
